Ms. Zippora Siregar became a Jr. Partner of MDC in April 2007. Ms. Siregar specializes in banking and corporate finance, project finance, debt restructuring and acquisition. She has practiced as a lawyer since 1996 and holds a law degree (1996) and a master of law degree (2004) from the University of Indonesia.
Before joining MDC, Ms Siregar was a Senior Associate in a major and reputable law firm in Jakarta where she specialized in project finance. In that firm, Ms. Siregar handled in numbers of toll road and power plant projects finance and had exposure in numbers of large debt restructurings in Indonesia.
Since joining MDC in early 2005, Ms. Siregar has often represented large domestic and international financial institutions in the finance transactions involving, among others general corporate finance, refinancing, toll road project finance, power plant project finance and cement plant construction project finance. Ms. Siregar is also well versed with acquisition financing (leveraged buyout) transactions and acquisitions of coal mining companies in Indonesia. Ms. Siregar also from time to time handles capital markets aspects of financing transactions.
Ms. Siregar is a member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association) and Ikatan Advokat Indonesia (IKADIN).
