Ms. Silalahi, who has been a Jr. Partner since April 2006, specializes in capital markets and securities. She has practiced as a lawyer since 1997.
Before joining MDC, Ms. Silalahi was a Senior Associate in a major and reputable law firm in Jakarta, which is a member firm of an international law firm. At the former firm, Ms. Silalahi was involved in numerous major public offerings (equity and debt securities) of banks and telecommunication companies, and had exposure in numerous M&A transactions as well as natural resources and banking finance matters. She was also involved in advisory of capital market and securities issues, such as stock options, mutual funds and securities offerings. She also worked in an international law firm in Melbourne (Australia) for three months under a secondment in 2000.
Ms. Silalahi holds a law degree from the University of Indonesia (1997) and a master of law degree from Northwestern University, Chicago, USA (2003) under scholarship from an international law firm.
Ms. Silalahi is a member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocate Association).
